ABOUT "MUSIC FROM THE NORTH"

THE PHILOSOPHY:

"MUSIC FROM THE NORTH" was born in 2006 from the idea of the Italian Tour Operator "IL PENTAGRAMMA" (located in Garda and specialized in music groups). The original idea was to put in contact the North-European culture with the Italian one through the music.

Sometimes different languages are like an obstacle for the communication, but the music is an international language, that everybody can understand.

Take your time for listening to and looking at the music groups coming from the North, performing with their traditional costumes and sharing with us their passion for the music.

Bands and choirs from Northern Europe will perform in the most important and evocative  churches and squares in the Veneto Region and at the Lake Garda from March to October (see the calendar for the detailed programm).

THE FESTIVAL

The highlight of MftN is the Festival taking place every year the last week of June.

Bands and choirs coming from different countries will perform at the same time in many locations like Verona, Sirmione, Garda, Peschiera
